Whats the best big bore kit for MX racing a Z-400? The CT Racing kit, Trinity, FST, Yoshi, or any others?

i think trinity has a great kit..

 

Are any of you speaking from experience or just going on what you've heard? So far Trinity seems to be the most thorough but I've never rebuilt a bike.

 

I'm going by how Doug Gust's bike runs. The way my daughters bikes run. And the other motors that TC has done.

That's the confidence i'm looking for. When I hear people say it like they mean it then I'll consider it. I prefer experience over reading some article. Thanks LT80.

 

Just remeber trinity claims 63hp for the raptor and most get 44 to 46hp. Do the math and it means your Z will get 34-36HP[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

im doing a thumper racing 470 kit they have been doing drz for years and i liked the fact they could answer all the questions about there kit i called everyone and nobody could give me strait answers im really concerned with compression ratio if the kit uses a drz base gasket or the ltzs gasket what cams the kit uses and thumpers kits are complet comes with a better cluth jetting pug oil filter ect so check them out and call and c who is willing to talk to you and answer you questions

What do you mean, "only 34 -36 HP"? My Z400 produces about 32hp now. What is the realistic HP output after a generic 440+ bore kit?
