Default White Brothers

I have a stupid question but I would rather be safe than sorry. I have a White Broth. Exhaust tip on my predator. I have the tip with all of the spacers in it. My question is in the back of the exhaust outlet there is a plate. I pretty sure that is the way it is supposed to be but like I said I want to be sure.THANKS!!!!

Yes, that plate is your spark arrestor, which is required to ride on almost all public trails. If you read the stamping in the plate, that will explain what it is. You should be able to read it from the back of your quad when installed properly. If you are going to run the "silent core" with the exhause, that goes between the pipe and the first disk. This is the way I am running mine, and it doesn't sound much louder than stock.

How do you have your Predator set up as far as the slip on. I like the part where you said, it isn't much louder then stock. I want to put the WB pipe on to get more low end, but I don't want a loud pipe. So let me know how yours is set up, as in how many disk, quiet core, jetting and air box mods. Also, what difference in power did you feel with your set-up? Thanks!

Right now I am running the silent core that came with the pipe, between the pipe and the first disc, then all 8 discs, then the spark arrestor end cap. It's a lot quiter than if the silent core wasn't in there, but when you get on it hard, she barks, but again not as loud. I tried it every way I could think of, and this is the quitest I could get it. I was unable to get full RPM in 5th gear on the snow running the river b4 I installed the K&N and slip on. Now I"m going to get a 36 tooth rear sprocket cause I'm now hitting the rev limiter in 5th. Fantastic add on for the cash. I didn't re-jet, but I"m thinking about trying it with the cold and all, and no airbox mods. I'm going to ride it hard and pull the plug while it's still hot to see what kind of burn I'm getting, lean or rich. It should be lean if I'm not mistaken. The pipe box says that jetting isn't necessary, but no one says anything about the K&N and Slip-on. Take care and good luck!

Thanks.
By the way, did you notice any power difference, and if so, where? The bottom, mid, or top end.

It picked up the slack from the bottom end very well, from the little flaw that it had. Also, it increased throughout the range of the motor, but like I said, most noticeable at the bottom end.

I'll try to get some DB meter readings, and get 'em posted with the different configurations.

That would be awesome. Also, could you see what the stock DB is too.
