How do you DS owners haul your quad? Width wise, my 400EX barely fits in my friend's pickup. I looked at magazine specs and the DS is about 50" wide and the 400EX is 45" wide. It wouldn't be a problem on a trailer but I doubt it would fit in smaller pickups.

Mine was trailered home in a mini-pickup. Not sure of what brand, Ford or Toyota or something. It was one of the salesmans truck. When we bought the second one, we had to remove the side rails of our little utility trailer to get it to fit.

We can fit both of our DS 650's in a 6x12 trailer with about two inches to spare with them staggered right and left, without removing anything like the grab bar or nerf bar.

Good luck,

Well, I take my DS everywhere in my full size chevy. It fits between the wheelwells with a plastic bedliner in place. It is a very tight fit but does fit.
