Default What size jets are needed for CPI pipes?

I just bought a pair of CPI inframe pipes yesterday and I was wondering what size jets do I need for this? Im planning on getting V Force reeds here soon. Im sure that you have to jet a little different with different reeds and pipes. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Come on guys!!!!!!!! I could use some input also. I know it is going to depend on other mods. Some say When going to CPIs from other aftermarket pipes you need to drop mains down??????????

I am interested in this also, I have some cpi's for my new machine, and t5's on my other machine. They will be setup the same for a little while.

It does depend alot on altitude and air filter setup. Are you going from stockers to cpi's, or from another pipe to cpi?

If from another pipe, you might go up one on the mains and see how she runs, check the plugs and go from there. If you are going from stock, I would guess you will probably need about 320-340 jets. That might be rich, or lean depending on your setup. Are you ported?

There are lots of variables, so it is hard to give you a number and say that is your perfect jetting. I would start on the higher side, and then work down to where it revs out clean, then check your plugs and see what you think.

Might check over at the bansheehq site, lots of good info there also.

It will really depend on your air filter setup.

I am going to be dynoing the V-force vs ported stock cages on my TT bike as soon as I can get to the dyno. It should be in the next month. I will let everyone know what I find. It is a 350cc, FTZ ported, shaved head for race gas, dyna ignition (I will be dialing in the best curve), FTZ 35.5 carbs, and CPI pipes. I found a guy on ebay selling the v-force's new for $199! I do know that they were supposedly redesigned for 2000 and I wonder if his are NOS (New Old Stock. I am into building classic cars and trucks so I use this term often just incase you haven't heard it.). Anyone want to send me a set of v-force's for some dyno runs! Many people say the modified stockers make as much or more hp, but only the dyno doesn't lie. It will suck to drop $200+ in a set of v-forces if mine ($115 for mods and new reeds from FTZ) will outperform. Oh, well, I have wasted more money on other things.
