Heya all, getting ready to strip the 500 and give it some tlc. I was just going to have racks, foot rests, front end bumper and assm sandblasted and repainted. Think the sandblasting is ok with fine sand for refinishing? Not getting powder coat or anything, just a util quad. Just primed and good rust paint?

Hi, I think you are doing the right thing with the sandblasting but don't be shy on the painting, 3 coats anyway.
That is a great web site , are you going to put so Videos on it?

Heya BigCat... Ya im going to try to make my site an all cat site. If you want some space for vids, or you have pics you want to submit id be more than happy to oblige. No banners or popups, just all CAT. That goes for anyone that would like to contribute. I am going to have a Friends Rides section anyway. Just getting the code working and such. I cant code so its all a learning experience.

Sounds like a good idea. How much room do you have on your page?

Get yourself some two part epoxy primer and paint for the paint job. This stuff dries HARD....heck you'll be bouncing off trees instead of scratchin the paint .
