Help with Rancher oil in air filter basket

Hi i have a 350 rancher, i recently found oil in the air-filter basket, is it normal
I check my oil level and it seems ok and my transmission work good
Can anybody help me out

Oil in the bottom of the airbox is completely normal. When you clean the air filter, you are supposed to soak the filter with oil, (80w90 gear oil, for example), wring out excess oil, and reinstall it. There is almost always a bit of oil sitting in the bottom of that little rubber water collector thingy at the bottom of the airbox. P.S, You should always check that thingy when you've done alot of those "deeper" water runs..

There is a crank case breather in the airbox too that may let some oil into the airbox. Also may get some if machine was tipped on its side or rolled over, again from the breather hose.

This is a normal thing, it does it on my recon too. I've been told that there is an oil overflow put into the airbox and if you are doing wheelies or on any big angles then some oil will go into the airbox.
