What are the advantages and disadvantages of putting a big wheel kit (tires and rims) on a 300 Four Trax,I understand it will give more clearance but will it afect the warranty or performance and any thing else you might know from past experinces and is there enough clearance with out the opitional lift kit they sell or do you have to have that to ??? And also where to purchase reasonable?? Thanks...

i had the black water big foot kit on my honda 300 4x4.ill start with the advantages.more ground clearance and much better traction in the mud and it felt more stable with the wider tires and it looked meaner, and you could ride home on a flat.disadvantages, you will have a noticeable power loss,it will chew up the front wheel bearings, these tires absolutly suck in the snow (i ran the blackwaters in the summer and the stocks in the winter)you will need wider fender flairs on the front or you will be covered in mud.
