when I got my 97 300ex it had a different plug then the manual said so I went and got the one the manual says. when I I put the new one in it didn't run as good as with the old plug. I think the stock one is a DR8ESG or something like that. I was just wondering what plug you guys run in your 300ex? I can't remeber what the old plug was and I don't wanna go out there and check. anyways what plug do ya'll run? later

I think that mine is DR8ES-L. Not sure though.

y2k300ex is right. I have never fouled a plug, you might want to check and see if someone put to rich of a main jet in it.

yea you're right. I don't run that plug anymore it didn't run near as good with that plug.I know nobody has changed the main jets caused the guy I bought it from only knew how to change the oil and tighten the chain. I think the one I'm running is a hotter plug. I don't know if this will hurt anything.Tommorrow I'll get the number and tell ya'll what it is.Ya'll might want to run it in yours cause it made mine run better. later
