im starting to get ectremely sick of all this quad bashing.i know every quad has its weak and strong spots. i own a honda a 86 350 foutrax im even lucky to have it. it has solid axles front and rear gas tank mounted under the seat a fuel pump and all kinds of things. but it does have limited slip sometimes the slip will work right sometimes not if in a straight line all the tires spin sometimes when turned. alot of you epople think you have it bad with quads that are fairly new but think i dont have IFS or IRS i dont have all that fancy shmancy spedo or anything like that. you people have it good in the quad life so lets quit the quad bashing people buy certian quads for differnt use's. i use mine for work and some play i dont need all 4 tires to spin or a auto tranny or a huge displacement my true 350 cc engine does what i need to get done . ok guys can we please just stop ? well im gonna get back to eating my chips and drinking my coke later all

I agree totaly. I have a 350x which I am very lucky to have. I don'tt like buing new Quads with all the fancy gismos. I am buing a 250r and that too I am lucky to have. I could afford a new Qaud even the 400ex but why do you people waste money when you can buy a good used quad or trike cheap and spend your money on more inportant things?
I would rather spend 2k then 6k and have 4k do spend else were. if some of the kidson this board would grow up and act mature and stop the bashing you would see that bragging rights is not worth 4k.
thanks mudda i agree with ya and I don't blam any one for buing an older quad cause it makes a lot more sence to me.

I agree mudda I used to have 87 moto-4 225 with no front plastic a burnt up starter a broken recioler the back wheels had to be welded to the hubs no front s shocks I used so angle iron and put them on the shock mounts I did have a wiseco piston and cobra exhaust though only because I blew it up and I got the exhaust free off of a three wheeler Now I ahve a moded out 250r and a 97 300ex but when U ride the 225 and then the 300ex the 300ex feels like a cadilac. I would still have to say I have had more fun on the 225 though. well remember U can practice and practice and practice but U still can't beat me!!!!!!!!

 

I also do not see what the big deal is about new big displacement atv's with all their fancy extras.I just bought a '84 200X for $600 and it has a ton of mods on it.I went riding the other day and i was passing warriors and blasters left and right.For $600 i have a machine that will pass a new $4500 atv.It might not have electric start,reverse,or anything,but it sure is a thrill.Be happy with what you got,or maybe it just because I am only 14 and don't know what i am talking about,or anything with a motor in it that you can ride will please a boy.Believe me,people were looking at me weird when i passed them on an old three-wheeler when they just bought a brand new quad that wouldn't even hang with me.

 

Ryda i'm the same age as you(14) and we bought a honda 200 trx sx for $2300, I'm totally happy with what i have.......i don't need all this fancy-dancy stuff. My quad may be a piece of junk but it runs fine, all it needs is new front bearings.

 

i agree with eveyone but i could not take it anymore with my three wheeler. it is a 185 honda three wheeler.i dont know the year but it was so old sometimes i usally pushed it instead of it pushing me.everything was shot.but it still went and it would go everywhere my friend went with his 99 kodiak 4 by 4.i bought a 94 suzuki Quadrunner only used 2 times but u will always catck me riding my three wheeler.
