Default Difference in Weight of TRX250Rs?

Anybody know FOR SURE what the weights are for the different years of the TRX250Rs?

I know for SURE that the 88's and 89's are lighter just due to the aluminum vs steel swingarms, and the fact that my 86' seems to weigh a lot more than my 88'.

Anyone know for sure what the dry weights are for the different years, and where did you find the info?
Thanks!

I know its been over a year since you posted this but I just stumbled across this so I figured I would answer. My 1986 TRX manual says 328 lbs. The '86s were supposedley a little heavier than the other years because they have extra gusseting.

Nope, the swingarms on 88 & 89 are aluminum, 86 & 87 were steel.

Extra gusseting on the 86? I'd have to see it. I have an 86 and an 87 and what differences in frames are negligible.

The quickest way to see an 86 is the extra front braces welded on the frame in front of the engine. That's the gusset's he was talking about.
