case saver didn't, now what?

My case saver didn't save my case.
During my last race I was flattening some 2 inch saplings making a new line around a mud hole when one of them little buggers jumped up and got caught in my chain. My chain came off the rear sprocket and packed up in my case saver. I yanked the wad of chain out, got it back on the sprockets adn kept going. When I got home I noticed that the case saver was bent, so I ordered a replacement. When I took the old one off - to my surprise I found out that the top mounting hole on the case was ripped off.
What do I do now? Do you think JB Weld will hold the chunk on? Can it be welded? Do I just run without a case saver and hope my chain doesn't come off again?
Any ideas are welcome at this point. Thanks!

My cousin has the same problem right now. He is just going to take it off and hope for the best!
I would think you may be able to spot weld it back on if you really wanted to.

A buddy of mine found a good welder and fixed his. You will just have to take it off to get it welded. If you dont take it off and try to weld it you could heat something up and ruin it.
