Hey fellow Honda studs! I was just curious to who has the best top speed on their 300EX. Mine is running at 58 mph right now. 14 tooth front sprocket is all for mods. Later.

Cool, that's all I got on mine also, except for a UNI filter, but the stock Honda filters are awesome to begin with, so I didn't gain hardly anything with the UNI. It's actually around 60 mph with that front sprocket.

 

Well hey there..........I gots my self a 87 250X, is that close enough to a 300EX? well if it isnt to bad, cuz mine goes about 55 with me on it, that is cuz i weigh 225 pounds and i am 6'1" tall. mine is completely stock.

My best quadding buddy has a 97 300ex. He has a 305 big bore kit, White Bros E series pipe and header, different cam, valves, etc. He is running 20x11x9 Maxxis Razr rear tires, and changed the countershaft sprocket 1 tooth for more top speed. We clocked him at 64mph with a radar gun on a short gravel run. I think he can do 65-70 on cement with a longer run.

 

i have a 95 honda 300ex race ready with motor work done by TC racing it has a 405cc kit with supertrapp exhaust and aftermarket oil cooler it runs on c14 race fuel. have pics email me if u want to see it. It beats 400ex(stock) on the track

 

I gots me a new 2000 300EX and it goes about 55mph. It will run side by side with a slighty modified (pipe and filter) 97 300EX.

I got a 98' 300ex. it has dg krome lite muffler, k&n air filter, dyno jet kit, 14t front sprocket, and 20-11-9 shredders. it will do 64mph on asphault. i really love it but it just can't hang with my 00' 400EX

 

I have a 98 300ex with FMF pipe, torque cam, 11:1 piston, and UNI filter. Mine tops out at around 60 i think. Maybe a tad faster on cement and a really long run.

I have a 300 fourtrax with the big mud tires, I think it runs about 45. I would love to have a 400ex or banshee though, they are a thrilling ride!!!

I got mine to run around 76-79 MPH. But I put a cobra exhaust,uni filter,12tooth front spocket and a 35 rear spocket, and it still has good low end!
