Default EHS solution to running without airbox lid

Have any of you guys seen or use these products
You can modify your lid yourself. If you are like me and dont like to run with no airbox lid,
here is the solution.

Just ordered mine.

Let me know if you are using this setup, and how you like/disslike it

Default EHS solution to running without airbox lid

I have one and just got the jetting worked out today! I love the cover, still runs like it has no lid but has alot better responce and power down low. It seemed to solve the "no lid turbulance" thing that others have mentioned. I was running no lid, all I had to change to get it running good with the EHS lid was go back to the stock pilots. I am currently running 148/150 DJ mains, DJ needles 3rd position from the top and 3 turns out on the mixture screws. I highly recommend the lid to anyone running no lid at all, still has the same top end that it did with no lid.

RaptorRidr what altitude are you at?

Why did you go DJ when Yoshi reccomend mikini jets. Any reason?

Thanks for the feedback.

I started out with the DJ kit and had good luck with it so I stayed with that. I ride anywhere from sea level to probably under 1000 ft. no more then that I think. What jetting are you running with your yosh???

Im still running the stock airbox.

In the proccess of modifying airbox for K&N filter........thus the questions.

Currently running 150/155 mikuni jets.

Im thinking of changing to 155/160

Currently at 6000 feet above sea level

McFly I also have the EHS product and it does work and look good, but you will probly be mor in the 160/165 mains that what I have and a plug check shows a little lean still, but my GYT kit only goes up to 165 so I'll be getting bigger one soon, Also I did notice it ran a lot better when I put back in the stock pilots, but noticed last night within one minute of cold starting and letting the quad idle the headers glow bright red. This concerns me but I never started the bike at night before with the larger pilot so I have no idea if going back to stock is the cause.

Mine glowed at night too even with the bigger pilots, It is due to the Yosh being made of stainless and it is a one wall design, I think the stock header is thicker and a 2 wall design so you would never see it glow. At least that is the reasoning I have heard alot.

McFly.... What sceen are you in in Huevos 5?? I have the video and was not sure.
