Price on new Rancher
#1
Local dealer said he needs to move out some ranchers to make room for street bikes for the warm weather.
The prices he was saying was like $4600 for a 4x4, and add $200 for ES model, and like $3600 for 4x2.
Do these prices sound decent?

I would believe that he's clearing them out because the new 400's are coming. People buy street bikes and quads in warm weather. The 350 4x4 retails at about $5200. Six hundred under retail sounds good but watch out for the add on cost. Like $80. or more for paper work, high transfer fee's,
and whatever else they can think up.

Just talked to Honda dealer myself looking at my first atv. My dealer (here in small town Iowa) quoted me a price on the 2003 Rancher ES of $4690. That was his rock bottom price including all rebates but not taxes- yadda, yadda, yadda.
He also said he doesn't think the new Rancher 400 AT will phase out the 350 ES but may cheapen it up alittle in the future.
Me, I'm waiting for a test drive on the 400 AT. Dealer said they will be $5500 to $5800.
