Default Stupid question but its kinda making me think

ok w/ith the yamaha quads may be with others.. but what is the differnt between the regular yamaha quads and the california quads? someitng in the motor or exhaust or what...? just wodering...

As far as street bikes go, the emissions are alot lower due to pollution regulations and the EPA. I guess the engine just emits less harmful gasses in the exhaust, it may be controlled by a chip or something. Im pretty sure on the new Yami R1s (bro has one) that the pollution is regulated by a microchip..

hm... thats kinda wierd i mean wouldnt that make it have less power.. or if it dont why dont they just sell all the cali ones to everone to make it cut emissions... like for 2 strokes.. or cnat u buy 2 stroke in cali i cant remeber

yes, the raptor has 35hp in stock trim, but only 33 in california
