Glamis is AMAZING! I was only there for 2 days, and I wish I could have been there for a lifetime. Its all its cracked up to be and MORE. Its the coolest thing in the world. The dunes are SOOO vast and go on for ever. You could be there for a year and not even ride all of it. Theres everything you'd ever want to see. 1000hp sand rails, 140hp banshees, girls, racing, fights, biggest trucks ever.. the list never ends. IF you EVER have a chance, go there! Its the coolest place to ride in the US, period...

Yeh, they really only crack down on comp hill, its gated off with flimsy metal poles and plastic tape. The whole time I was there I never saw the BLM in action at all. Only saw a few of their badass buggies. The whole crackdown is only due to dumbasses starting things on fire and being WAYY immature. Well... now that I think about it, there was a little BLM action at the sat. night sand drags. But nothing out of the usual I assume..

Been dunin there for 13 years.....GO ! Let me rephrase that, GO!

Unfortunately, it has been taking some heat lately due to the "misplaced, punk-*** spring break type punks" but those folks arent riding, they are just there for the party.

There are lots of other places to camp in addition to the Glamis area. Ogilby, Gordons Well, Buttercup, Etc.... It sorta depends on if ya like a family atmospere or a strip-club.......

Either way, it's the best ridin out there !

went to jericho(utah) last week, ended with a trip to the county jail to bail out buddy who doesn't like flags on the ATK so he tried and failed to outrun the sheriff. $5000 bail. I hope glamis isn't that bad, we are thinking about a thanksgiving trip.

a few guys have some awesome movies of quads draggin up olds hill. if that big beautiful hill isnt enough to make you want to visit glamis, then you must be on sand mountain.
