What do u all suggest ??
with my mods as below what should i purchase .
.
I dont want anything with a stiff throttle , dont want anything difficult to jet .
Would like something with some good low down increase to assit me playing in the dunes ...dont need to go any faster ...just stronger ....
This "mods" thing is killing my bank account ............ !!

exactly what paddles are you running and what is your gearing? the stock carb is easy to jet and has the least resistance to push
some mods to consider doing to the stock cv carb can be found here.cv carb mods
you will notice that the carb is not an exact duplicate of the one on the DS but the mods will be similar.

Gearing is stock , paddles are Gheckos (they are the only ones we get in NZ) . i play around in the sand , not looking for traction or dragging ability , just wanna enough power to climb hills etc !!
cheers

Prokiwi, dude!- traction is critical to getting the power you have to the ground. All the power in the world with poor traction won't get you where you want to be. The geckos are hurting you! and so is your gearing!
Blackhawk- I tried some of the mods and it felt a bit more responsive.

majorecho ...i hear ya dude !! - i get good launch with the gheckos and am happy with them , gearing too tall ??? i was thinking of going back up to the 17 tooth cos i seem to run out of gear when im playing in the sand ...(hardpacked sand ...no wheelspin)
just looking for the ultimate setup to give me the strongest ride without loosing too much power in each gear.
appreciate the thoughts !!

i think clutch springs help with paddles as mentioned the power needs to get to the ground. we run 15-40 to 43 for the dunes ( i still need to try 14) i had the geckos and they don't hook well in sand i don't know how hard pack you are on but in loose sand they hurt you on a ds.

Sandman, I tried the 14 tooth front sprocket with the 43 rear and am going back to a 15. 15/40 was great and 15/43 was even better but 14/43 seems like the bike overrevs to quickly and you never really get to load the motor. I wouldn't spend the money to try one. Maybe you can borrow mine sometime.
