Default Help!!! I can't ride :(

Hey guys!
I bought a set of lone star +2+1 rec a arms for my 400 ex and they don't seem to fit. The grease zerts interfer with the frame and I want to know if they need to be removed or what I did wrong.

I'm not sure how the fittings go in but, I do know thay make plug type zerk fittings. Those are just about 1/8 inch high.

are the arms on the right side? Do you have the shocks installed?

You will have to file down a notch in your frame to clear the zerks, or you can temporarily remove the zerks until you do that so you can ride. If you ride without notching it out you can kiss the zerks goodby! I found that out the hard way!

Yeah, thanks I used an angle grinder and notched out the frame. I basically had to cut all the way down to the weld on the tubes. I didn' t dare cut any further as to not weaken my frame. My shocks seem to only compress 10 1/2 inchs and thats about how far I can get the a arms to swing. I'll pray they don't break[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
