Default Bigger carb boot for 91' lt250r

I'm just about done putting my motor back together and was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a bigger carb boot for my quadracer. I have a kehin PWK 36 carb and it is a tight fit in the stock boot. What have all you guys with bigger carbs did for this?

Thanks Alot,

chuck

since i never actually put a bigger carb on my '91 i can't say too much... but on a 36mm carb you should be able to soak the boot in boiling water then put it on the carb and it will work.
one other solution (usually for larger carbs like 38-39mm) i've heard is using a carb boot from a LT500

I managed to squeeze a 38mm PJ into my 92's standard boot, once in try a little bit of gentle heat gun on it but be CAREFULL this allowed a bit of give, no probs 3 years later.

Apparently the 88 / 89 LT 500 boot is a bolt on but is actually a bit loose on the 38mm PJ / PWK ? the stock 38mm Mikuni spigot is larger ?

Does anyone else have an idea of where to get one?

I searched the forum and someone said they called sudco and they had them. I called there and they didn't have them for the lt250r. Mine is starting to crack from age and is going to have to be replaced sometime. If you buy a RAD valve can you get a larger boot for that?

I have a 39mm carb on my lt250 and I purchaesd a rad valve from boyeson. I went to the hardware store bought a thick peice of rubber tubing and it works great. Its cheap but you need to buy 2 hose clamps to keep a tight seal on both sides.
