Default Big Bear VS Rancher

Hello. I am having a lot of trouble picking between the Big Bear and the Rancher. The local dealer has the Big Bear for $3800 and the Rancher for $3500. Is the Big Bear really worth the extra money? Other then motor size, are there really any differences?

Any thoughts are more than appreciated.

Thank you again!

Default Big Bear VS Rancher

I have a 97' big bear. One of my friends has a 02' rancher. as far as pulling and climbing goes, i can out do him all day long. the rancher likes to spin its tires a little to much for me. the ol' big bear jus' grunts a little and goes on. Never really raced to see who's faster so i can't help you there. And all i have ever had to do my bear is change the oil, clean the filter, and keep it full of gas. I ain't done nuthin to the motor to keep it goin' other than routine stuff. Hope i helped some.

3500 for a rancher? Must be a 2wd S model. If its 4wd, its a helluva deal. My dad's 01 ES 4x4 was 5500 bucks otd.
