Ive been experimenting with different filter setups lately requiring way to many re-jets, anyway the engine underneath the carb where gas constantly gets spilled when i take the bowl off, that area has turned stained yellow, soap and water aint changing it back, any ideas?
thanks guys

Any type of carb or brake cleaner, spray it on and wipe it off before it evaporates.

Try Eagle wheel cleaner with etching. It comes in a black spray bottle and is very strong.Dont get it on your polished aluminum or it will turn it white. It removes oxidation from the metal. You can get it at O'Rieleys auto parts or any of the larger chains.
