How do you"bench bleed" master cyl

Default How do you"bench bleed" master cyl

I have a 01 scrambler with a spongy rear brake...I tryed bleeding it with no luck??
how do you bench bleed the rear master cyl?

Default How do you"bench bleed" master cyl

Basically, bench bleeding involves removing the master cylinder, and running a tube from the brake fluid outlet, back into the reservoir. Then you work the cylinder until no bubbles come through when you pump it.
You can do something similar without taking the master cylinder off the machine. Loosen the fitting right at the master cylinder, and step down on the brake. Tighten the fitting before you release the brake. Do this until you are sure there are no air bubbles left in the master cylinder, and then bleed the line to the rear brake. Be sure to top off the reservoir from time to time, because if it catches air, you will have to start all over again.
