Default Wolverine Tires, whats your opinion?

Hey, I'm getting new tires for my 2001 Wolverine. I am getting 25" tires to mount on my stock rims. I have narrowed it down to two choices that are on my budget. It is between the GBC Dirt Devil and the Duro Excavator.

The Dirt Devil's are 6 ply, $52.99 for the front and $61 for the rear
The Excavators are 4 ply. $43 for the fronts and $50 for the rears.

I am really torn with which ones to get. I ride all types of terrain. Fields, Hardpack, trails, mud, snow, and anything else. I most often ride dirt trails, fields and some medium mud. Nothing too insane. I am looking for as good a bite that I can get. the Excavators seem a bit more agressive but I dont know if they will be bumpy or handle poorly when i am whiping on harder trails. Does the 4 and 6 ply make a big difference?

one other question. Highlifter Unlocker or Warn 424 select? which one do you select?

I just ordered the Warn 424. I have heard that the high lifter wasn't very good. I don't know first hand but thats what I've been hearing. I'll let you know how the warn is.

I'm going to be ordering tires this Fall for my '03, pretty sure I'll be ordering the Kenda Bear Claws in stock width but 25". recreationtires.com has them for $45 front, $47 rear. My bro-in-law has them on his 660 Grizzly and they do a great job.
Have a good one!

Get the Warn 424, it works great, and it is very easy to install
