Default New Honda Quad News !!!!!!

Okay, Just got back from the local Honda/Yahama shop. I bug them every time I go in for info. Before they were getting nothing from Honda. This time, the owner said they will be telling all in June. He specifically said new honda quad. He's a MX type and loves the 250r. He said he can talk about it in June. He has to know something.

Anyways, we will know about the new honda quad in June. The owner said he knows stuff now but it is extremely on the DL. The basterd wouldnt tell me anything. I kept trying, aluminum frame? 600? 450? both? EFI?

The mags will have something soon. The news will probably be out before June if they actually told the Dealers anything. One of them will talk.

It's going to be a 450 in a 400EX chassis and the motor will be detuned to around 35HP, timeframe around December. Now on the other hand, Yamaha next month will be releasing their new 450 quad pumping out alot more HP than Honda in a "ready to race" chassis with a 48" stance, do not know what shocks will be on it though!

35hp is a decent amount seeing as a raptor has 37 stock. How much hp is in a crf450?

Riznaptor, Maybe they're tired of you bugging them so they just want you to stay away until June.
Tell them that you won't bother them anymore if they tell you what they know.

I dont bug them very often. They used to just say they havent heard anything. I dont think they would tell a customer that ones coming when they havent heard something.

Theres a lot of talk on the EXriders board about the new ones also. The new Yamaha 450 quad might be ready to sell next month. New Frame, lots of other rumors about it. I have heard from several different people that the honda quad wont be up for sale untill December =[

I was at a Yamaha/Honda dealer about a month ago. At that time, the one salesman seemed to think that something would be released by Honda and told me to check back in a week. That was a while ago. There is a show coming up so I hope they will at least release a price on the Rancher 400. I never did check back with him. I just keep checking the Honda and Yamaha sites.

Mabey a little off topic but has anyone seen one of those 400ex/cr250's. There was a company that was buying ex's and installing piped cr 250 motors in it.
