Default three in a row for my shorttrack 66o!!!

guys last night was the most competitive race that i have ever been in.got to the track at about 5:30 and unloaded.i went to talk to the guy that finished 2nd last week, and what do i find out,he has his quad set up exactly like mine.had his swaybar adjusted the same, had his left side tires tucked under his fenders and his right side out 4 inches further than the left side.copied my whole set up.you can't get mad because thats how you find out what works, you look at other peoples set ups that are running good and you try to copy it for your benefit.(it's all good competition).
there was about ten of us sitting and shooting the breeze talking about last week and noticed a few more quads there this time.we had counted 16 quads when they told us to start getting ready for hotlaps.i'm sitting there putting on my protective gear and here comes an enclosed trailer with badger racing on the side.well, just another quad no big deal(wrong!)they lower thr trailer and push out 2 badass banshees.these two guys brought their a game with them.one was black the other was blue, built, set up fot tt racing, alba graphics, slicks, these things were badass.
while watching the cars do hot laps i noticed the track was very slick so i dropped my pressure to 5lbs in the left rear,6lbs in the left front,6.5 in the right front and 6.5 in the right rear.
i don't guess that nobody else dropped their pressure because they were all over the track.my quad was hooking up so good that i was pulling the left front tire off the ground coming out of turn four.the black banshee couldn't get hooked up so i passed him with ease.i didn't ever see the blue one,but i could hear him.when i got back to the truck to watch the video he was on my ***.lap after lap he was right there.
checked my tire pressure and both my right side tires went up a whole pound in each so i dropped them back down.i also had to take off my case saver because the bolt kept backing out.everything else was o.k.
in the heat race i started 6th and was leading by lap 3.caution flies and it's the black banshee in the wall,he either got together with somebody or he went into the turn too hot and slid it into the wall.his night was done.
when they lined us back up after the caution we lined up like we started.i thought this was a crock of shi!! i was leading with 2 laps to go in the heat race and they lined us up side by side again
they drop the green flag and i'm going through the gears and miss 4th.got passed by the blue banshee,250r,and the ds650.we finished 1,2,3 and me 4th.
i checked my tire pressure again and the right sides went up a pound again.so this time my brother-in-law chris says"lets drop the right sides down to 5.5 because they keep building up a pound.chris is also my crew chiew,he help me build my rappy and we are in the process of building 1 for him.
they line us up 2 by 2 for the main and i start fourth on the outside of row 2.they drop the green and i pass the ds for 3rd in turn 2.then i pass the 250r on the back stretch.i get beside the blue banshee on the front stretch and pass him coming out of turn 2.well,he passes me on the front stretch.lap 4 i get him coming out of 2 again and hold him till lap 6.he goes up under me in turn 2 and i follow hih under the white flag.going down the back stretch there is lapped traffic on the bottom of the track so he moves a groove higher to go around it in turn 4 and i go a groove higher than him.we were three wide coming out of turn 4 and i dragrace him across the line and beat him by a front tire. on our cooldown lap the fans were going wild giving us a standing o'vation.i pull up in front of the grand stands to get my pic taken and i get interviewed by the announcer.nothing big, just where i was from,my name and how about a big round of applause for me.i get my pic taken with the trofhy, checkerd flag and the bill board and i start to pull off when the pic lady tells me to hold on.she lets a bunch of kids get around me and my quad to take a pic.she says they all like my neon rims on my quad.i've got those blinking valve stem covers in blue neon on my itp 190 aluminium rims and while racing it looks like my whole rin is neon blue.i thought that was pretty cool.
i'll have some pics up when i get them developed and i update this thread.
that's three in a row baby!!!

From your story I don't think it has anything to do with luck. You saw a problem that the cars were having and jumped on it. You just out rode and set yours up better for that night. No luck involved.

my wife tells me the same stuff.she says"you can't ever just take credit for being a good racer or fixing your problems, you always say the other guy had some misfortune."
