My best friend has an 01 DS. When he was trailering it, one of the tie downs broke and needless to say the DS came off when he hit a big bump. It rolled about 6 times. Surprisingly, it didnt sustain a whole lot of damage. He bent the handlebars, the front right shock, scratched some plastic and possibly ruined his wheel bearings. There may be some other things but I don't know at this time. He will get new bearings and will live with the plastic. The handlebars are probably going to be replaced with Renthals. Do any of you have a front shock that you may be willing to part with for a reasonable price? Thanks

 

ouch, that hurts.

That's why I always use extra tiedowns. I also have had them break before, but never had the bad luck of tossing my bike or quad.
