Help with bottoming rear of VForce...Elka?
#1
Hey there all you VForce guys. I've had mine for a week now.......having a problem bottoming out the rear shock on jumps. I go 225 lbs and love to jump. I read in a message posted a few weeks ago that some guys are waiting for their "Elka's " to show up. I asume they are talking about a rear shock made by Elka. Can anyone tell me more about this shock? Will it increase the amount of rear travel? Will it have a better dampening and preload adjustment? How much does one cost? Where can I get one? Someone suggested that I might want to just get a "Thicker" spring with a stiffer spring rate. Then I can still have a softer setup for riding trails.....and a stiffer setup for jumps.

We have put the Elka's front and rear on 2 V Forces. Elka sets them up for you and the way you plan to ride,,, WOW what a difference they made! The Elka's are the way to go if you can afford them. Just go on the net and type in elkasuspention.com and you can take it from there.

Fresh home from two hours of MX track, and only an hour of pipeline riding. My buddy got a KX250 today so he wanted to try it out at one of the local tracks. I NEED!!! some new front suspension, like right now, no joking. The back lands just fine but when you miss and land on the front it just bags out and there's no getting it back. I know the key is landing perfect every time, but I'm not there yet. Anyone tried changing things up front yet? I love the way this thing handles trails stock, but I'm sure gas charged front shocks would make it even smoother.
