Did they fix the problems they were having with the boxes "shorting" themselves to death when the teather is pulled?
What settings are you guys running and has anybody messed with making your own curve?

I like curve #3 (most advance) for all around fun.
I like curve #2 for drag racing. Good advance in the low and mid rpm and it tapers off on the top.

What you need to do is take the lead off of your ORANGE wire on the positive side of the coil and extend the long enough to reach the DYNA CDI box. Then install a round push-in connection and insert it into the PURPLE/WHITE connection on the new ignition. It works fine. The ofther end of the kill switch wire I left on the NEGITIVE side of the coil. It worked great.

I haven't had a chance to a lot of testing yet, but I started out on the #4th. (stock position) just to be safe at first. Then I switched it over to a curve that I created. It felt great, I can't wait to get it back in the sand and see how it does.

I also added a Tach. while I was at it.

As GregV said, the problem is not the Dyna box, it is the method of installing your kill switch. One wire to ground, one wire to the purple wire on the Dyna box.

Hello GregV!
I read your old message from Jan. 2002.There you write that you have an dyna fs on your raptor and you added a tach. Where you bought that tachometer?I´m searching for a tachometer which I can attach directly to the box.A digital tachometer is better for me.Have you some links to buy a tachometer?
Thanks
