Looking for somewhere to ride in Eastern MA, Will travel! Anyone know of some good places? I heard the Cape is practically off limits with DEP really cracking down, can anyone either confirm or deny this?

Head north BRO, while there is still some riding in NH. before long NH will be shut down too, as all those liberal MASShO#@les move up to the Live Fre or Die state

 

I agree with 03Foreman, Head up north. No places east without getting busted.

 

Guys...forget about riding anywhere in eastern MA . past 495 east. But!!! western MA, if you want to do the drive , there are trails still open at Pittsfield State Forest and we are planning a weekend trip there, maybe camping and riding.
I have a story for you about what the DEP cops are up to...last weekend while riding near the Cape Cod Canal(not legally), we heard a story about the DEP having a helicopter spotting ATV riders on the power lines and reporting to the ground DEP guys where the riders were going and went right to their house and tagged them! But you know what really frost my a**, on the power lines there are burned out cars, construction debris, tires and alot of junk here and there , but they bust us for having fun and not bothering anybody! "go figure"

 

I'm form pittsfield. If you want to go trail riding , we have some of the best trails in the the area. I might go ridigntrail riding this weekend if you want to hook up here in pittsfled let me know. Or I go riding in a pretty nice pit up here where I practice racing.

 

I am also in pittsfield, savoy state forest in western mass has a lot of nice trails, and october mountain, west mountain(west mountain-if you know where BCC (berkshire community college) is just follow that road right past BCC then it turns into a dirtroad that takes you right into it. And there are pits in pittsfield and in hinsdale.

 

Also plenty of riding in Granville and Tolland State forest. Also legal area to ride in Palmer. If you want to ride MX you can go to Uxbrdge Motosports Park Uxbridgemsp.com
