Default VForce Backfired and Died?

I was driving my VF and it started to backfire and then it just died. I opened the gas cap and there was a little air and then checked the front plug and it is white. I tride over and over to start it and nothing. I then opened the choke and it started and has run fine ever since. I am at 1300 feet and it was 55 degrees out and was going half throttle with a full tank of gas. Does anyone know why this happened?

i don't have an answer but mine did the very same thing had it wot for a short burst let off throttle machine backfired not very loud but a backfire nonetheless and it just died and rolled to stop my first thought was that this is not a good thing but it fired right back up and has not happened since machine had about three hours on it when this happened and i have put 4 or 5 more on it since then with no problems i just chalked mine up to a isolated incident at least i hope anyway it runs great so i don't think it's a big deal.
