Default yamaha blaster oil injection

hello, does anybody know if getting a blaster block off kit is worth it. Does it really save your top end in the long run if you mix your own oil and gas??

many thanks

Crispy

u don't need to get the block off..helps wit starting a little
premix the gass the pump tends to fail and straight gass goes into a 2 stroke
i don't wanna hear about another blaster seizing up due to that D#%^ thing
just get a ratio cup and premix the gass and ur be protecting yourself froma costly repair

I've never had an oil pump problem, and i've owned several yams over the years. I'm not worried about it. I DO run Blendzall in it cuz it's a little thicker than the yamalube....there was some speculation that the yamalube was so thin it was getting air bubbles in it in the feed hose... it wouldnt take much oil starvation to damage it.
Honestly I havent had a problem. and since i have a raptor too, I carry only one gas can. nice

I would take it off..If it fails, your screwed. the engine will seize and have fun w/ that. I also took it off mine because some of the racing oils you cant put in the oil injection systems and weight..not like the blaster needs to take and pounds off though its extremely light.. I also like mixing my oil cause im a more do it yourself kinda guy..
