if you remove the oil injection, how much oil do you add per gallon? and is red line really worth the $45 a gallon?

 

32:1 is what most people run.

 

hmm... well i use yamalube "2-S" (it has a red label if thats what you mean) and it says right on the back of the bottle how much to use per gallon, depending on the ratio you use. i dont know exactly what ration you would use, im guessing 32:1, but i cant back that up. if you have the owners manual, it should say so in there... i think. i havent blocked off the oil injection on my 03 blaster yet, but i plan on it soon. if i find any other info ill tell ya. hope this helped. sorry if it didnt.

 

i have a 98 blaster, with the injector removed and i run bel-ray mc1 at 50:1 in it and my lt500

 

i always mix mine 4 oz. to every gallon. it runs a lil rich but does good overall.

 

I cant think of the oil i use..but my yamaha store sells it..I buy it in 1pint bottles and at 32:1 i use the whole bottle for every 4gallons and i just keep that simple..the oil is 8$ i believe..
