2011 Arctic Cat 1000 ATV..........Wow! I had a test drive. I like the acceleration and the power steering. The seat feels too wide but I was raised on a 250R Honda.

 

I see you are from the London area. How are the trails out your way?

 

Great trails in Port Stanley, (near London) lots of hills. Trail pass required!

 

Engine hp on ATVs are tamed on purpose do to there riding conditions. Un like Sleds and PWC which have wide open lakes to cross safely at 100+ mph.

AC 1000 ATVs makes 80hp while there 4 stroke 1000 sled makes 145hp.

Same with polaris there XP850 makes 75hp while they have a 145hp 700cc 4stroke twin in there sled and PWC.

There thinking is no use making a 100mph ATV that spends its time on rough 30mph trails I quess.
