My brother has a 2002 500 and I was wondering how fast it gos in KM. He has got 27" mud lites.

 

i have an 03 500 manual and i've hit 55mph on a good long strait away thats around 90 klicks.

 

58MPH according to the odometer with 28s.

 

You guys are really getting that kind of speed out of your machines? I got a '00 500 and I cant get to 40 without the ithing screamng like a B#tch.

 

Wow, i get just over 50MPH on the gps on my ole 500. (and yes it screems like a *itch at this speed)

Why the interest in top speed?

I ask this because this topic seems to come up allot in atv forums. I for one could care less but it seems to be a very HOT question with allot of people so I was just wondering why you ask. Thanks

 

I asked this because my brother has a 500 4x4 and he says it will go 100 and i no hes lieing

 

It MIGHT do 100kms hr downhill pinned for 5 mins haha.

i took mine out today and held it on the longest straitaway i could find and when i had it wide open in 5th gear for what seemed like forever i looked down at the speedo and it said57 or 58 mph not sure with all viberating it was doing but i would say that was it. maybe if i had another mile it would hit 60 but i'll never know that was plenty fast enuff for me. i have a mini tach on mine and it said it was 5860 rpms at that speed.so shes screeming alright.
