After breakin, I've seen mid 50's (GPS) on my 02 500i on hard pavement, but the engine was not a happy camper at that speed. It might have gone faster, but just sounded awfully strained, so why bother? Translated into km/h, that would come out to low 90's.

Not an issue for me - if you're going over 30 on my trails, it means you're about to smack a tree... I did get into a drag race with a whitetail deer. I had the speed, but he could definitely cover rough ground faster.

markbanger- your brothers 500 might hit 100 kph with a big enuff strait away but he wont do it for long. plus who wants to go that fast anyway. if i wanted to go that fast i would ride my dirt bike at least it wouldent be reving to the moon.

I've got a 2000 300 4x4 with Gators (stock size) bored out and jetted i peg at about 61 mph.

My new A.C. 400 with only 20 miles on it hit 52 MPH yesterday on a long stretch of asphalt.
