Quad Modifications
#1
I am a new owner of a 2000 AC 500 4x4. I have been reading alot of posting on other threads about modifications being made to quads. I don't see many postings in this thread. Is anybody adding to or changing their rides?
I have noticed that when making sharp turns to the right, the throttle ends up in a position that is really difficult to keep hold of. I don't think this is just an issue with the AC, I think any of the quads with a tight turning radius would experience the same. I am not saying that it is a huge problem since you would be going pretty slow to make this sharp of a turn but it was something I noticed the second time I rode it. I was thinking that a motorcycle style throttle would improve the situation. Any comments??

Go to Project Quads and Conversions and read Nitrous. Is that a Modification,or what?
Here a few modifications that I will be doing in the future:
1) Drill a hole in the plastic were the toolkit goes, water collect there.
2) Buy some mud tires, mostlike likey Mud Sharks on Silver ITP steel wheels from rock Mountian ATV.
4) Get my racks, floorboards, and front bumper "bedlined".
Here are the modifications so far:
1) Gun rack(on handlebars)
2) Ox-lite Boot guards
3) put slime in one tire(it had a leak)
4) bent the rear rack trying to pull a freind, I was tryin to get more traction by pulling my rear end down.
5) A good bit of scrates.
