The AC 250 and 300s have the same engines and trannys as the Suzukis of those sizes. No super low on the 2X4 models only on the 4X4s. And the LT250 has a lot less ground clearance.

When I upgraded to a AC400 it was for two main reasons. Bigger quad for my large rearend and the wife kept stealling the 250 every time I turned my back. She loves her 2001 AC250 2X4 and with the changes I made she can ride with confidence that it will bring her home. It never let me down. Gees, look, three posts in a row. I'm a "Post Ho".

With the AC250 and the super low range - would the tranny be able to handle the stress of 25 or 27" tires? I mostly just cruise the trailes and gas pipe roads at less than 20mph. But like to have that extra tall tire to walk through the wallowed out mud pits.

DO NOT BUY A RALLEY they suck i had 1 and i had all kinds of problems with it but i own a 2005 ac 250 2x4 and i have put it through hell and back about 5 times i have rolled it 10 times i love it u can not even hurt the thing it has been in mud up 2 the seat it thought it was a boat 1 time it has been any where and every were u can think of buy the ac its the best

The biggest POS I have ever bought was a Honda - an XL 350. The second biggest POS I have ever bought was a Honda 230.
