I put the Cat (500 auto) out yesterday, and low and behold, I had to go to reserve after 53 miles of riding. Much of this this was in mud and snow, with a few hills (mtns) thrown in for good measure. The elevation range ran from 2600 ft to 7100 ft. After shifting to reserve, I was able to go another 25 miles. When it was all said and done, it took 4.56 gallons to fill the big Cats belly. My question is, how are the other Cats doing, and is this what I should expect?

My Auto Cat made 60 miles before I hit reserve last time I ran it that low. I have one of those large flat fuel packs. It holds 3.25 gallons and I could not put it all in when we filled up on the trail.
