arctic cat made a street legal and approved quad for europe, wow... it has 15 inch tires, approved head lights, horn, signal-lights, parking brake, catalytic converter. does any body know how i would need to make my arctic cat street legal for the US? Also the models for the street legal atv is 250cc 2wd and the 300cc 4wd.

 

In northern Canada a quad is street legal if it has insurance and a brake light. I drive mine to work all the time. But we dont have New York traffic here either!!

I think half of the east coast is here vewdew because there are so many jobs....haha...that and you can ride your quad downtown!

I can not find the article, but I remember reading that Cat sends them straight from the factory to europe and then the modifications are done over there.

 

Like NWThunting's area our part of S.D. will license quads, as long as you have proof of insurance, a brake light, rear view mirror and a horn. Yes they do accept a kiddy bike horn!! (I got a purple sparkly one)
