how much does a lift kit lift the bike on the 03 cats. i was just wondering. and dose it lift just the body or the whole bike.

 

Well, that depends on if you buy a 1 inch, 2 inch, or any other size.

 

The lift kit moves the shock/spring attachment up or out about 1 inch. This will move the a-arms down 1 inch (making a steeper cv angle). If you have an i model dont buy a lift kit. It puts the cv's in too much of a bind.

 

Yes, it adds a lot of stress, and the I models really don't need it. They can fit big tires easy, and they already have a butt load of ground clearance.

 

i do have the 03 500i .but i was just wondering if it lifted the whole thing or just the body. i dont think i will be putting a lift in mine it sits high enuff now. i was just wondering. thanks for the replys.
