What is the difference between these two new Cats?
I notice that they both have Kawi's 650 v-twin...but the LE gas tank is located differently.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

I believe that the LE pictured is actually a 500 disguised as a 650 for photo purposes. I spoke to my dealer today who was at the show and he said the LE has the gas tank in back, like the regular 650. He said he rode an LE and there is a large storage area where the gas tank is on the other AC's.

 

If thats so, did they leave their air box in the same place? That would suck, cause thats a big plus on the Prairie with that high intake.

 

When i was at the show i spent some time studying the LE and from what I can tell the differences are- chrome rims, winch, heavy duty bumper/grill, handguards and painted to match racks. I'm sure i forgot something
