gear indicator light out

Default gear indicator light out

last ride the gear indicator worked ok. this time it don't. any ideas?

Check the connection under the front plastic. This can work loose.

Did you install a winch yourself?? If you don't add the extra little wire that comes with Cat winches the gear indicator light will burn out.

Which wire is that? I put a winch on last summer, and the only extra wire I could find was the one to supply power to the solenoid.

I did mount an aftermkt warn winch myself on a.c. mount, I did not get an extra wire apparently. Should I pursue fixing it( no big deal other than losing temp light). If I leave it will anyhting else burn out? I will check the otheer possible lose wire. Thanks all.
