Kawi is just playing the numbers game with the 700 - the 650, like most big bore quads, is already detuned. The extra 50 is just to get people's attention. If there's any increase in power, it's mostly from tuning changes, not increase in displacement.

They'll just keep on one-upping each other to keep the sales coming in. Already, I've heard a rumor that Suzuki has a super-quad under consideration - 1600cc, two seats, 5 sp manual or 3 sp auto trans, windshield, I think they're going to call it a Samurai. Catchy name, eh?

i went to my cat dealer and they said that cat up the hp on the 650

 

i can honestly say that i like arctic cat, but i think they went a little overboard with the 650, oh yeah why only an automatic???

Its a Polaris 700 EFI, they might release the 800 but I doubt that.
