Default Dynojet kits

Question for 2002 500i automatic owners- If you look at the dynojet website a kit for the 500i auto (2002) is not listed. I've talked to them several times as to why and the standard answer is that they haven't found a bike to test on. You should be able to just get the 02 kit for a 500act since the carb/engine/tranny set up is basically the same (even though dynojet says they're different). Anyone out there have a kit in there 02, and which one did you put in?

Yea I did , but it was for a manual . They first ordered the wrong kit Q621 for a 2003 500i auto which i think will work in yours. My Dynojet Kit was a Q620. When I put the kit in it was running to lean and would not go over 35 miles/hour, so I went to 1 larger jet (134) WOW a brand new bike, and power to spare.
They give you a trouble sheet and tell you what to do.
My buddy has a 2001 500act manual and the only difference in the kit is the spring, because the 500act's takes less power to turn the rear wheels then IRS. I know the 03 have more horse power, a leaner jet should do the trick.
I hope this helps.

Dynojet kits are a waste of money IMHO. All they do is science out where the jetting should be for several different general states of tune and elevations, then sell you 9 bucks worth of parts to make it work. There is nothing fancy or special about their needles and jets. Anyone with a general sense of how to tune a carb can do the same thing by buying parts yourself.......I did.

While i agree that its less than nine dollars of parts for 80 dollar kit, dont they use a more performance minded taper on the needle. I think you are really paying for the needle than anyhting else.
