bump steer 500's

I reversed the outer steering joint on buddies 99 500, after good long ride he tells me it handles MUCH better plus maybe is also little easier to steer. Just thought you might like to know, good riding.

What do you mean you reversed it??

You unbolt the outer steering ball joint where it feeds down through steering arm & feed it UP through arm, now your A-arms & steering rod is paralel. Don't forget to realign your wheels. If you want to see what bump steer is, push front of your machine up & down while watching the tires.

Boner, when you did this did you notice it easier to steer as well?

When I get my cat back from the shop I will do it.

Untill then I have the same question.
