I saw the 650!
Its pretty sharp especially the LE model. The new radial tires seemed to be okay. Plenty of power via the prairie motor. After seeing it in person many "prairie" parts are being used. Its almost like the two crashed and everything from the prairie ended up in a AC frame. Top speed around 70, and yes it will do wheelies, this is a very different breed of Cat!

What is your opinion on the manual hold locked.let go unlocked. It doesnt leave a hand free for the cold one when you want to make it look easy.you know what i mean?
Also what about the gas cap posistion.. i figured that would be the first thing that would go if i owned one. A limb or mud could cause some problems.

The AC 650 uses a flip over lever (on/off), so you don't have to hold it. The Prairie at the lever you had to hold (but were able to adjust the level of diff lock). Personally, I agree with you. You can't hold a cold one and squeeze the lever.

You are running a 26 inch tire vs the Prairie 650/700 which are 25 inchers. With a taller tire, you will eat up more power & the top end is where you will really see it. My P650 with the 27" Goodyear Heavy Mudrunners dropped me down to 57 mph from a 64 mph from the stock cheapo tires. Top speed is not a concern for me as this Cat 650 will cruise comfortly all day in the 50 mph range, if you want to & it won't even be working hard. This Kawasaki VTwin engine is a blessing to have in any 4wheeler & for the last 2.5 years I have really come to like this Kawie VTwiner & for whoever gets one of the new Cat 650's, you will not be disappointed.
For everyone who does get the IRS Cat 650 VTwin, you should all drop Kawasaki a line & say "Thank You, for allowing Arctic Cat to license their 650 VTwiner motor in a Arctic Cat 4wheeler".
