Hi Dragman, Congrats on your new quads. Man for your first new quad you really went BIG
TIME. I think you made good choices. I got my AC 650 last monday, & i too will post info on the
650, as well as the Suzuki Eiger, which we picked up yesterday, its one of my sons bike. We will switch rides once in a while as we did yesterday.I think the Arctic Cat forum will be growing larger. Lots of guys waiting to get there's, & some like you & i already have. Can't wait to get on some good trails. The 650 is a hand full though isn't it! The only reservation i really had was the belt sysyem. I kinda wanted a manual, but now i'm kinda glad its an auto.
My son went with a manual on His Eiger & it is a blast to ride. He'll be running circles around me on tight trails, but thats o.k., i'll catch him in the stretches.LOL. My previous bike was a Polaris 600 SP, so i'm used to heavy. It was stolen, so take care not to lose yours, insure it for sure, & cable it good.I'll look forward to your posts & hope you post often. Regards, Jerico1

Yeah i know it alittle big for a first quad but why not , its a little heavy but i want the extra power for towing and such. not to worried about the belt drive probaly wont be doing a whole lot in deep water but might have to test it. I hope i wont be disapointed in my choice, dont think i will. Jerico let me know how it dose if you get in some deep mud or water

Hey Dragman, Took the 650 out this morning to my first serious trail ride, along with one of my sons on his new Eiger.Lots of mud & deep water as we had 4" of rain a couple of nights ago. Some challening hills both up & down. Both of the quads did great, & we gave them a pretty good workout as well as ourselves. Great engine braking on the AC, & the deep water & mud were no problem. I could have went around some of the really bad stuff but wanted to see how well it would handle adverse conditions , so i did, & it did. Steep rocky ledges were exciting , as well as some long dirt hills.I liked the wide stance of the AC on off camber & deep ruts. Had the front end up in the air several times, climbing hills. The AC 650 is awesome, & i liked it better than my SP600.The IRS made the fast times on the open stretches of bumpy uneven trails very controlable. Had no trouble sliding the rear end around in the twisting wooded areas of the trail. Not as nimble as the Eiger manual though, of course. If i had to fault one thing , it would be the rear foot brake, but i knew that going in. Had plenty of braking with the lever. The locking diff was a comfort on the really bad stuff, & i wanted to try it out, so i did. Went thru a lot of mud & water in 2 wheel drive only. The new ATV's were a muddy mess when we got back, but the power washer took care of that. I feel really good now that i've gotten my first serious trail riding behind me & i think i've made the right decision
on buying the AC650 , at least for me & my needs. My son went everywhere i did on his Eiger,
except for the very worst mud & water. Regards, Jerico1

to your qestion 650 baby i live in michigan the dealer had two 650s a red and a green said they just got them in i bought mine on september 29 . jerico good to hear that the650 did so good in some deep stuff. took mine out on the farm an went through some rough terrain and the suspiension took up the rough stuff well. still waiting to hit some mud. I just have one problem i have a small tear at the front of the seat where it wraps around the frame of the seat , going to take it to the loacal dealer to see if warrenty will cover it since where i bought it is about an hour away. Other than that no problems.
