Hey, N1teowl

How does your Artic Cat perform with the 28 inch Vamps on it? Did you go from the stock tires directly to the 28's?

I just sold my 27 inch vamps. I liked my vamps, but I am just before going as lighweight as possible. My aluminum rims should be here this week. Although I haven't decided which tires to go with.

Just a couple of things to add, I think your machine looks really mean with those 28 inchers on it, and your site looks good. Keep up the good work.

I run my stock tires for about 2 months then I got 27x12 vamps all the way around until this past week and got the 28's. As far as performance the large tires pulled down the power alot, but it still pulls well in low range 1st and 2nd but 2nd will lug in the real sticky stuff. Also I can't tell any power change between the 27's and 28's which surprises me.

I have a Polaroid PDC640. I got it at Wal-Mart for about $175 I think

Well heres A few pics of a ride earlier this spring. Two guys in our club went riding the day before and got stuck. They walked out about 15 miles. Nine of us went back the next day to rescue them. They didn't tell us not to go down the hill and we all did. We ended up with 11 ATV's stuck on this hill and had to winch and push them all to the top. It took about 3 hours.
We ended up with 3 broken winches and a bunch of tired & wet guys

Will try to get more pics later, I'm going riding tomorrow.

Niteowl,

Why didn't you have the spacers in those pictures?

They are on it. If you look at the rims the center caps are sunk so you can't see them
