Default Another axle question

i was wondering if anyone has had any major problems with the front axles of their quads. I plan on purchasing gorilla axles and i was thinking about saving some cash and just picking up the rear axles. or do you guys think that i could save a little bit more cash and just buy the arctic cat 2004 axles. i don't think that the price difference between gorilla and factory axles is that much so do you think that the gorilla axles would be a better bet.

Default Another axle question

Would not consider the CV boot ripping on my 03 300a major problem, but when I was taking the cv off it was not comming off as easily as it should. Then I had to bang on the cv and it broke the cage. Come to fiond out the splines on the axle were rounded off. This was definately something that should have been under warranty but I was 8 months into the new machine. Well anyway, AC does not sell just the cv, you need to get the whole axle. $258.00 USD!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING!! Had to get it cause I was down. I contacted gorilla axles and they were actually more expensive. Maybe cause the 300 is not as popular as the 400's and up. Good luck.

I've had no trouble. I don't personally know anyone with a CAT that had that kind of trouble without a lift or bigger than stock tires. I'm not saying it hasn't happened, but I just don't know anyone.

GO ahead and get the fronts too. axels are axels, and it doesnt discriminate front or back.
