Default Storage question

I have had a big old moose cloth bag for over a year know, and have recently decided its just too much junk to carry for weekend riding. I ride with the same group for the most part and we ahve been talking about breaing things up in terms of things like, fuel, tools, spare parts, tire repair, cooler, etc... oh yeah ya gotta have toilet paper. But anyway my point is I want to just get the optional (on my models 250/300) storage box from ac to go under my rear fender. I knwo this coems stock on other AC model bokes, do you guys feel it is enough for simple tools spark plug, toe rope and mayeb extra gloves and glasses, I think that may be tight but a consolidation of the extensive list of things I currently carry. I might get a basket for the front or rear, you guys have any thoughts on those things? They seem kinda pricy for what they are. I also was looking at the "two up" style plastic rear box, seems kinda nice casue my girlfriend and I do go one short runs sometimes. Does it work well for easy trail riding, and experiences? Anway how do you guys handle storage for weekend trips maybe 3-6 hours riding using a base camp (with cabin and shed full of tools, so we dont need to carry every little thing)?

Default Storage question

i found that the little box on the back of mine actually fits a lot of stuff! keeps things pretty dry too, as long as you remember to close it tight!!
